1. Cookies in plain language

Cookies are small pieces of information a website asks your browser to keep. Weave uses first-party cookies when you ask to sign in or verify your email. They let us connect the steps of that request and recognize your signed-in session. Green State Restoration, Inc. operates Weave.

You can read the public website without signing in. Weave's public pages do not set advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use advertising pixels or track you across other websites.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle information connected to your account.

2. The cookies Weave uses

These cookies belong to the Weave site you are using. They are set only as needed for an account action, not simply because you read this policy.

  • weave_session: recognizes your signed-in account. Contains a random session token. If you choose to stay signed in, it lasts up to 30 days. Otherwise it is a browser-session cookie and the corresponding server session expires after 7 days. Browser session-restore settings may preserve a session cookie after you close the browser. Signing out ends that session and removes its cookie.
  • weave_challenge: connects the steps of the extra sign-in check for owners and admins. Contains a random challenge token and your stay-signed-in choice. Expires after 5 minutes and is cleared after the check succeeds.
  • weave_pending: remembers the email address, verification step and stay-signed-in choice during a sign-in or email-verification request. Expires after 15 minutes and is cleared when the relevant flow finishes. It does not contain your password or sign-in code.

The sign-in cookies cannot be read by page JavaScript. They are sent over HTTPS in production and restricted with SameSite=Lax. They are not shared across unrelated websites. The cookie lifetimes above describe browser storage; see the Privacy Policy for information about server records.

3. Cookie settings

Essential cookies: used only when needed for sign-in and verification. These support a service you request. Weave does not offer an on-site switch that would break those steps. You can block or delete them in your browser, but sign-in or verification may stop working.

Analytics cookies: not used. There is no analytics preference to turn on or off.

Advertising cookies: not used. There is no advertising preference to turn on or off.

We do not ask you to accept optional cookies because this version does not use any. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this policy and provide the choices and prior consent required for that use. A change to this policy alone does not give permission for optional tracking.

4. Change or remove cookies

Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to see, block or remove cookies for this site. Blocking all cookies may prevent you from signing in. Clearing cookies does not delete your account or the information held on our servers. Sign out before clearing site data if you want to end your current session.

For help with your browser, see the instructions for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

To request account deletion or other privacy help, see Privacy choices.

5. Browser privacy signals and other websites

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this version for a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal to disable. These signals do not disable essential account cookies.

Links to another website, including an app store or a payment provider, take you to a service with its own privacy and cookie practices. Visiting our pages does not automatically load a payment provider's checkout or set that provider's cookies.

6. Contact and updates

Contact Green State Restoration, Inc. at info@greenstaterestoration.com or (425) 300-6431 about cookies or privacy. We will update the date above when we change this policy.
